Wrap profiles: the detail that completes the design
A wrap profile is a moulding, batten, architrave or door frame finished with a veneer applied over a substrate, rather than machined from solid timber. Done well, it is indistinguishable from solid wood by eye. Done at scale, it transforms what is possible on a project.

6.8 cubic metres of solid teak would have been required to deliver the design in solid timber. The wrapped solution used 0.22. The visual result is identical. The material yield is thirty-two times greater. The finish is consistent across every length, every join, every batten on every wall and ceiling.
This is what wrap profiles do at their best. They take a design that would be impractical or unsustainable in solid timber and make it deliverable.
Where wrap profiles earn their place
Door frames, architraves and skirtings on large fit-outs. Slat walls and ceilings in retail, hospitality and high-end residential. Natural veneer: where the timber is the story
Some projects ask for the unique character of a single log. The figure of burr walnut. The medullary ray of quartered oak. The fume on smoked eucalyptus. These are looks that come from the timber itself, and the right answer is natural veneer, sourced and matched with care.
Natural veneer is right when the brief asks for individuality and when the species, the cut and the figure are central to the design. A feature wall in a private residence. A boardroom table that should feel like one piece of timber. A hotel lobby desk where the timber is the welcome.

Veneer layons: precision components for door faces and wall panels
A veneer layon is a precision-cut veneered panel, supplied ready to install. The veneer is bonded to a substrate, cut to size, edge prepared and finished to the project specification. The joinery company receives a component, not a raw sheet.
This is widely used on projects where the consistency of the door face is critical, where lead times are tight, or where the joinery company would rather not carry the production risk of laying up panels in their own shop. Layons are available in ALPI, where consistency across hundreds of doors is the point, and in natural veneer, where matching across a smaller run is the priority.
